The Man from Snowy River may just ride again.... On Monday November 20, a peak Horse Riding Group including the Snowy Mountains Horse Riders Assoc, Snowy Mountains Bush Users Group and the Australian Horse Alliance (which nationally represents many of the ATHRA, Endurance and Pony Club Groups) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NSW Liberals and Nationals about the future approach to Horse Riding in NSW, in the event that they are elected in next years March 24 state election.
So what does this mean to us and to our friends : find out more
The Snowy Mountains Horse Riders Association Inc. was established in 1985 primarily as a lobbying group to re-introduce horse riding into parts of Kosciuszko National Park.

Since 1987, a Mountain Bush Racing Day which we call our "Mountain Muster" has been held annually in the School Holidays in January.
The Snowy Mountains Horse Riders Association have regularly donated profits to local organisations such as S.E.S, Volunteer Fire Brigades, Pre-Schools and for Sports People to compete at the highest level.
